We are excited about the variety of experiences we are offering in Catalonia / Barcelona! Our Villa and your home for the week has a fabulous kitchen and is located at the base of the Pyrenees mountains. Our daily tours travel between the neighboring valleys to taste a variety of Local Beers, Wines, Cheeses, Cava, Yoghurt, and the famous sausages from the area. DAY 1 –
- Meet at BCN airport at 10:00 am
- Tour Boqueria Market and Old Town Barcelona
- Quick Lunch on your own
- Tour & Tasting, Artisinal Cheese Maker. Learn about production and sample varieties produced from: Sheep, Goat, Buffalo and Cows Milk.
- Arrive mid-afternoon at Villa

DAY 2 –
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Visit historic town of Vic on “Market Day”
- Optional Tour of the Vic Cathedral with Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassic styles.
- Lunch own in Vic
- Learn how to make the famous regional sausage Fuet, followed by tasting.

DAY 3 –

- Lunch on your own in the scenic village of Viladrau (located in the UNESCO Montseny Natural Park). Viladrau has a reputation for the most prized chestnuts in Catalonia and an abundance of mushrooms.

DAY 4 –
- Breakfast at the Villa.
- Excursion to Barcelona to tour the “Sagrada Familia”, Gaudi’s amazing Basillica
- Lunch and free time to shop in Barcelona
- Afternoon in Park Güell, walk the paths, enjoy the view and the fascinating Gaudi architecture

DAY 5 –
- Breakfast at the Villa
- Funicular ride over the river and up the mountain to Montserrat. Enjoy the afternoon performance of the renown boys choir, tour the Monastery and Museum or spend some time hiking the scenic trails.

- Visit “Alicia” and experience “The Sense of the Senses”. Tour the Kitchen Garden

- Wine Tour and tasting: 13th Century Vineyard; Award Winning – Bodega Heretat Oller del Mas,

- Visit Bodega Frexinet Cellars – National Historic Monument and exceptional Cava producers since 1659. Tour the caves, the factory and finish with a tasting of Cava.
